I love tofu. I think I mention that in every single tofu recipe post here but hey, I cannot stop raving about how yummy soy products are! Tofu is a staple in my kitchen so I will continue to cook dishes with it. Today, I’m sharing Pan-fried Tofu with Black Bean Sauce.
The Pan-fried Tofu with Black Bean Sauce turned out to be delicious! I initially thought while taking photos of the dish that it would be salty but it wasn’t. I’ll cook this again in the future. So easy to cook yet turned out to be good!
Pan-fried Tofu with Black Bean Sauce
Ingredients
- 1 block firm tofu cut into triangular slices
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic chopped
- 1 tbsp black bean sauce
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp water
- 2 tbsp scallions
Instructions

In a wok, heat olive oil over medium heat.

Add tofu and fry until cooked. Take tofu off the wok and set aside.

Add garlic and saute for 1 minute.

Add black bean sauce and saute for another minute.

Add tofu, soy sauce, water and scallions. Saute for another 2 minutes.

Serve and enjoy!
