I love pork belly and I super love tofu so bringing my two favourite ingredients together would be perfect! And what would go wrong with an adobo recipe?
I love this recipe of Pork Adobo with Tofu. It was super flavorful and the pork was so tender. I think cutting the pork into smaller portion is a huge factor why the pork is tender. I’m adding this to my favorite recipes 😃
Pork Adobo with Tofu
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 5 cloves garlic
- 1/2 kilo pork belly sliced into small cubes
- 6 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp oyster sauce
- 1 cup water
- 4 tbsp vinegar
- 4 pieces bay leaves
- 2 tsp sugar
- 1 pack tofu cubed and fried

Add garlic and sauce until fragrant.
Add pork and cook for 5 minutes.
Add soy sauce, oyster sauce and water. Let boil then simmer for 45 minutes.
Add vinegar and bay leaves. Let boil again.
Add sugar and tofu. Cook for 3 minutes.
