My usual protein in the freezer are ground beef, ground pork, chicken, pork belly and pork chops. This time, I’m sharing a super duper simple pork chops recipe called Asian Seared Pork Chops.
The ingredients are only a few (soy sauce, white pepper, sesame oil, corn starch, five spice powder & shaoxing wine) but it’s so incredibly flavorful! You must try this recipe yourself! Just make sure not to overcook and allow the pork chops to rest for a few minutes before serving. 😊
Asian Seared Pork Chops
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 tsp white pepper
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 1/2 tbsp corn starch
- 1/4 tsp five spice powder
- 1 tbsp shaoxing wine
- 2 pieces pork chops
- olive oil
Combine all ingredients under marinade in a shallow dish.
Add the pork chops into the marinade and leave them for one hour.
In a wok, heat oil.
Sear marinated pork chops on both sides until cooked.
Allow to rest for 5 minutes then serve!
