Asian Seared Pork Chops

My usual protein in the freezer are ground beef, ground pork, chicken, pork belly and pork chops. This time, I’m sharing a super duper simple pork chops recipe called Asian Seared Pork Chops.

Asian Seared Pork Chops

The ingredients are only a few (soy sauce, white pepper, sesame oil, corn starch, five spice powder & shaoxing wine) but it’s so incredibly flavorful! You must try this recipe yourself! Just make sure not to overcook and allow the pork chops to rest for a few minutes before serving. 😊

Asian Seared Pork Chops

Course Main Course
Servings 2 people

Ingredients

Marinade

  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 tsp white pepper
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1/2 tbsp corn starch
  • 1/4 tsp five spice powder
  • 1 tbsp shaoxing wine
  • 2 pieces pork chops

For Cooking

  • olive oil

Instructions

  1. Combine all ingredients under marinade in a shallow dish.

  2. Add the pork chops into the marinade and leave them for one hour.

  3. In a wok, heat oil.

  4. Sear marinated pork chops on both sides until cooked.

  5. Allow to rest for 5 minutes then serve!
