I can eat like 5 hotdogs in one sitting whether it’s just fried or grilled. I just love eating it. But there’s one way of cooking hotdogs that everyone of us should know. Because after I’ve cooked and tasted this Hotdog Sardines, I’m a total believer! It’s super duper yummy! So if you have hotdogs and you got tired of just frying them, you can try this recipe.
It’s just ketchup, onions and the hotdogs. It’s like pinoy spaghetti without the meat and noodles. It’s pure hotdog goodness with yummy sauce to boot!
- 500 grams hotdog sliced diagonally
- 1/4 cup water
- 4 tbsp margarine
- 6 cloves garlic minced
- 1 piece onion cut into rings
- 1/2 cup ketchup
- 1 tbsp brown sugar
In a wok, put hotdog and water. Bring to a simmer.
When the water has dried up, add margarine and cook the hotdogs for 3 minutes.
Place the hotdogs on one end of the wok. On the other end, add garlic and onions and saute for 1 minute. Then mix everything together.
Add ketchup and water. Then bring to a simmer. Add sugar and mix all ingredients well.
Transfer into a serving plate and enjoy!
