Another adobo recipe. Yes, this is adobo recipe week, hehehe! This time it’s pork with sitaw vegetable. Another dish that I super love and enjoy! This Adobong Sitaw with Pork with bits of fried garlic on top is delicious!
A combination of tender meat, crunchy vegetable and crispy garlic is perfect! Just this Adobong Sitaw with Pork dish is enough to pair with plain white rice. You have both veggies and pork in one dish.
Adobong Sitaw with Pork
Ingredients
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 kilo pork belly
- 1 piece onion sliced thinly
- 6 cloves garlic minced
- 3/4 cup vinegar
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 bunch sitaw cut into 2-inch long
- salt to taste
- pepper to taste
- fried garlic bits for garnish
Instructions

Put oil in a wok over medium heat.

Add pork and cook until color turns light brown.

Add onions and garlic and cook until onions turns translucent in color.

Add vinegar and bring to a boil.

Add soy sauce and water.

Cover the wok and continue to cook until sauce is slightly reduced.

Add sitaw and combine with the rest of the ingredients. Cook for another 5 minutes.

Season with salt and pepper.

Garnish with fried garlic bits. Serve and enjoy!
