After Ram-don, the latest Korean food craze is the Dalgona Coffee. So I tried it even though I’m intolerant to milk, hahaha! As expected, I didn’t feel good afterwards. But it was good, I liked it! Can’t drink more of Dalgona Coffee though.
Save yourself some effort by using an electric whisk to whip the coffee, sugar and hot water. I used my ever-reliable kitchen aid at full speed for 7 minutes to get into the right consistency. The Dalgona Coffee tasted like the ones we buy from the coffee shop and it definitely cost much less and it does look awesome!
- 2 tbsp instant coffee
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 2 tbsp hot water
- cold milk
- ice cubes
In a medium-sized bowl, add instant coffee, sugar and hot water.
Using a whisk, whip until the texture is foamy. With an electric whisk, this will take about 5-8 minutes.
Fill 2/3 of a tall glass with milk and ice cubes.
Top with the foamy whipped coffee.
Stir and enjoy drinking!
