Whenever I feel unwell and can’t get myself to cook or prepare food, I would go for instant ramen! My go-to-brand? Shin Ramyun!
The most basic variation to this Instant Korean Ramen is put a poached egg and some fresh green onions! I learned from Maangchi that we just need to put the egg directly into the boiling noodles and keep it there for one minute. The result? A super yummy hot ramen! I will try to look for more ways to cook Shin Ramyun and will post here as I discover and try some!
Instant Korean Ramen
- 1 package Korean Ramyeon
- 2.5 cups water
- 1 piece egg
- 2 pieces green onion
On a small pot, boil water over high heat.
Add noodles and soup packet. Cover and boil for 1-2 minutes.
Turn the noodles over.
Crack the egg directly into the boiling noodles. Cover and cook for another 1 minute. Do not stir.
Remove ramen from the heat. Add green onions and the dried veggie packet to the ramen.
Serve and enjoy!
