It’s hard for me to organize my home if I continue to have tons of stuff at home. So I’m trying to use up stuff in my pantry so I can arrange things better. I still have 1 can of Century Tuna in my pantry so I decided to use it for my breakfast today… so comes Tuna Sarciado.
I usually just heat up Tuna and eat it with warm rice. Tried something different today, thanks to Panlasang Pinoy. I didn’t follow his lead in using Tuna in Water. I used the one with olive oil which is in my pantry. I didn’t use any oil as I used the one that came with the can. Still, this Tuna Sarciado tasted good!
- 180 Grams Tuna in Olive Oil
- 4 Cloves garlic minced
- 1 Piece yellow onion sliced
- 2 Pieces tomatoes cubed
- 1 Cup water
- 1 Piece egg
- 1/4 Tsp black pepper
- 4 Stalks spring onions chopped
- 2 Tbsp fish sauce
In a wok, heat oil over medium heat.
Add the oil from the canned tuna.
Add garlic, onions and tomatoes. Saute until onions are translucent.
Add the tuna and cook for another 3 minutes.
Add water and let boil.
Beat the egg in a bowl and pour into the wok. Don’t stir yet. Let the egg cook first before stirring.
Add ground pepper, fish sauce & spring onions. Cook for another 2 minutes.
Place in a service plate. Serve and enjoy!
