Since most of the veggies I cooked recently had pork as a secondary ingredient, I deliberately chose a beef dish to cook next. Thus, the recipe today – Beef and Pepper Stir-fry. This was a super easy one as I always prefer whenever I cook.
This Beef and Pepper Stir-fry is so pepper-y! So if you like pepper, you would love this dish! I enjoyed this as it was moist and flavorful! The colors of the bell pepper made it look good too!
Beef and Pepper Stir Fry
- 500 grams beef sirloin sliced thinly
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 3 tbsp cornstarch
- 4 tbsp olive oil
- 1 piece onion chopped
- 1 piece green bell pepper cubed
- 1 piece red bell pepper cubed
In a bowl, mix beef, soy sauce, oyster sauce, salt and pepper together. Leave it for 10 minutes.
Add cornstarch and mix again all the ingredients until blended. Set aside.
In a wok, eat oil over medium heat.
Add onion and bell peppers. Cook for 3 minutes.
Transfer out the onion and bell peppers and place in a bowl/plate. Set aside.
With the remaining oil, add marinated beef. Cook for 9 minutes.
Add the cooked onion and bell peppers. Combine all ingredients and cook for another 2 minutes.
Serve and enjoy!
