With the pandemic happening, it’s a challenge to fight the food cravings. One of the dishes I missed is Pork Sisig. Since a lot of restaurants now offer their dishes pre-cooked, I bought one determined to cook it for satisfaction 😁
I add lots of chili, onions and calamansi. I also made sure that I overcooked the sisig a bit as I prefer it crunchy! The end result is craving satisfied! I know pork sisig is unhealthy but it doesn’t hurt to eat it every once in a while.
- 250 grams Pork Sisig
- 1 piece onion chopped
- 3 pieces thai chili peppers chopped
- 3 pieces calamansi squeezed
In a wok, place sisig over medium-high heat.
Cook for 10 minutes.
Add onions and chili peppers then mix all ingredients together.
Cook for 5 more minutes or more based on your preference.
Serve on a sizzling plate. Squeeze calamansi over the sisig to complete the dish.
