Bistek Tagalog

I’ve always had this fear of cooking Bistek Tagalog. I thought it’s hard to cook. So I just try to order this whenever a restaurant offers Bistek Tagalog.  But I know I need to face this fear anyhow, so a couple of weeks ago, I tried my hand in cooking Bistek Tagalog.  It’s not hard after all!😃

Bistek Tagalog

I was worried that the beef might be tough but it turned out tender! I guess the secret to this is to cook the beef in medium-low heat. The flavour of the dish is mainly due to the marinade.  The longer you marinade the beef, the more flavours will be infused into the meat. I have a 9-minute marinator so it didn’t take me that long.
