It’s either Thai Iced Tea or Thai Iced Coffee whenever I dine in a Thai restaurant. I just love how unique the taste of the drinks are. It’s something unique to Thailand. One order of Thai Iced Tea is quite expensive here though. The price is ranging from 170-190 and I felt I can save some money if I can just make this drink on my own. So I’m sharing the recipe of Thai Iced Tea which is perfectly how a Thai Iced Tea should taste like!
Ever since then, I’m now doing like 1 liter of Thai Iced Tea to store in the refrigerator and to enjoy over the week. This is just awesome! The only thing here is to be wary of calories as this drink is just sweet, sweet and sweet. But otherwise, if taste is what you’re looking for, this Thai Iced Tea is perfect!
Thai Iced Tea
Ingredients
- 2 Tbsp condensed milk
- 1.5 Tbsp white sugar
- 1.5 Pinch iodized sugar
- 4.5 Tbsp Thai tea leaves
- 1.5 Cups Hot water
- cups lots of it!
- 1.5 Tbsp evaporated milk to drizzle
Instructions

Prep a water jar and a cloth filter to use for this recipe.

Put condensed milk, sugar and salt to the jar.

Place the cloth filter on the jar and add the Thai tea leaves.

Pour hot water to the tea leaves/filter.

Stir the ingredients.

Pour the Thai tea on a glass filled with lots of ice.

Drizzle evapored milk on top of the drink.

Drink and enjoy!
