Who would ever thought that Pork Chop is not just for frying? It works as a protein for a soup too! This Pork Chop Sinigang is a winner! I love this one, definitely a pleasant surprise ❤️
It’s rare for me to cook hard dishes as I’m still trying to declutter the kitchen. But maybe soon, I’ll try to cook some labor-intensive dishes. For the next few weeks, I’ll continue to cook simple and easy dishes for you to enjoy.


Pork Chop Sinigang
Ingredients
- 6 Cups water
- 3 Pieces tomatoes chopped into wedges
- 1 Piece yellow onion sliced into wedges
- 3 Pieces pork chops
- 40 Grams sinigang mix
- 3 Pieces green chili peppers sliced
- 3 Tbsp fish sauce
- 1 Bunch kangkong chopped into 1.5 inch pieces
Instructions
- 
										In a big pot, bring water to a boil. 
- 
										Add tomatoes and onion. Boil for another 3 minutes. 
- 
										Add pork chops then cover the pot. 
- 
										Lower the heat to medium and cook for another 35 minutes. 
- 
										Add sinigang mix and stir with rest of ingredients. 
- 
										Add green chili peppers and kangkong stems then cover pot again. Cook for another 10 minutes. 
- 
										Add fish sauce and kangkong leaves then cover pot. Turn off heat and let spinach steam for 5 minutes. 
- 
										Serve into bowls and enjoy!
