My 2018 Book Reading Goals

When I came across the quote, “an investment in knowledge always pays the best interest”, I knew that I should allot time everyday to read.  When I research about the lives of the most successful entrepreneurs in the world, I find that they all read tons of books in their lives. I want to be like them. Thus, I’m going to aspire to read more this 2018. Here’s my 2018 Book Reading Goal:

My 2018 Book Goals

Non-fiction (especially self-help) books is my preferred type of book.  I don’t know why. I feel that getting those precious lessons we get from non-fiction books will help me become a better person.  In fact, I listen to popular self-help authors’ podcast if they have any.  Right now, I’ve been power listening to Gretchen Rubin’s podcast and I enjoyed listening to it thoroughly whenever I drive in my car.

I use iBooks as my eBook reader and use goodreads as my social media tool for book reading. I love that goodreads has a yearly reading challenge where we can encourage our friends and vice versa with our book reading goals. I’m especially impressed with friends who can read more than 50 books a year! I cannot even finish a book in one month! haha!  Maybe I read too slow.

I’m hoping and praying that I’ll be able to finish reading all books this year.  Wish me luck!
