Ever since I bought 1.5 kilos of ground pork due to a sale in S&R, I had been looking for recipes to cook with it. One of the recipes that caught my attention is Wok with Ray‘s Filipino Style Omlette. He made the torta look so delicious that I couldn’t help but plan to cook one myself ASAP.
Today, I finally did it. I changed a bit of the ingredients from Ray’s recipe. I used ground pork instead of ground turkey and made some adjustments in the cooking. It takes time to cook Tortang giniling but after eating it, you’ll feel that it’s all worth it!
I might need to shape the omelettes better in the future. Nevertheless, the tortang giniling tasted just the way it should be, I loved it! The experience is ten times much better with ketchup so do not forget 😉
