Stir-Fried Sardines with Ampalaya

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 5 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 piece onion minced
  • 1 piece ampalaya sliced thinly
  • 1 can large size sardines you can also use 2 small cans of sardines
  • pepper to taste
  • 2 tsp fish sauce
  • toasted garlic chips for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a wok, heat oil over medium heat.

  2. Add garlic and onions. Cook until onions are translucent in color.

  3. Add ampalaya. Cook for another 3 minutes.

  4. Add sardines. Combine all ingredients together gently.

  5. Add pepper to taste and fish sauce. Cook for another 3 minutes.

  6. Remove from heat and serve. Sprinkle with toasted garlic chips.
