Lo Mien

Servings 5 People

Ingredients

  • 3 Tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 Piece white/yellow onion sliced
  • 1 Piece red bell pepper julienned
  • 1 Cup shitake mushrooms sliced
  • 1 Pack snow peas cleaned
  • 1 Piece carrot julienned
  • 200 Grams egg noodles cooked according to package instructions
  • 3 Tbsp soy sauce
  • 1/2 Cup chicken stock
  • 2 Tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 Bunch spinach chopped
  • salt to taste
  • pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a wok, heat oil over medium heat.

  2. Add onions, bell pepper, mushrooms, snow peas and carrots. Saute until onions are translucent and carrots are softer in texture.

  3. Add cooked egg noodles. Mix with rest of ingredients and sauté for another 3 minutes.

  4. Add soy sauce, chicken stock and oyster sauce. Cook for another 5 minutes.

  5. Add spinach, salt and pepper. Combine with rest of ingredients. Cook for another 3 minutes.
