Rellenong Ampalaya

Ingredients

  • 2 pieces ampalaya (bitter gourd) cored and cut into 2-inch sections
  • 1/2 kilo ground pork
  • 1 piece carrot minced
  • 1 piece egg
  • 3 tbsp breadcrumbs
  • 1 piece onion minced
  • 5 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tsp chili flakes
  • salt to taste
  • pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. preheat oven to 180 degrees celsius.

  2. rinse ampalaya and set aside.

  3. in a bowl, combine all ingrediate except for ampalaya.

  4. stuff the mixture into the ampalaya slices.

  5. in a baking tray, arrange the stuffed ampalaya

  6. bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes.

  7. remove from oven and serve in a plate. enjoy!
