Pan-Fried Tofu with Soy Dipping Sauce

Ingredients

Tofu

  • 3 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 package firm tofu cut into 1/2-inch cubes
  • sesame seeds

Sauce

  • 1 tbsp scallions chopped
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1/2 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 tsp chili garlic sauce

Instructions

To cook the tofu

  1. Heat oil over high heat in a wok.

  2. Add tofu and fry till color turns golden (about 7 minutes each side).

  3. Transfer on a plate and sprinkle sesame seeds on top.

  4. serve with the soy dipping sauce.

To prepare the sauce

  1. Mix together all sauce ingredients (scallions, soy sauce, garlic, sesame oil & chili sauce) in a small bowl.

  2. Serve together with fried tofu.
