Ohhh veggies! I’m eating it a lot these days and I realized my appetite just went up real fast. I indeed am gaining weight too! I’m still thinking how to manage this but today, I’m sharing the Garlic Green Beans recipe which is yet another simple but super delicious dish!
We just need to blanch the green beans first, then cook it up with tons of garlic. Drizzling sesame oil at the end gives it a super nice finishing touch. I just love simple dishes like the Garlic Green Beans which is sooo good!
Garlic Green Beans
Ingredients
- 3 Cups water
- 1 Tsp salt
- 500 Grams green beans
- 1 Tbsp oil
- 12 Cloves garlic sliced thinly
- 3 Tbsp soy sauce
- 1 Piece onion sliced thinly
- 1 Tbsp sesame oil
Instructions

In a large wok, bring water to a boil over medium-high heat. Add salt

Add green beans and cook for 8 minutes. Stir well.

Remove green beans from the wok and drain. Reserve 1/2 cup of the cooked water.

Remove all remaining water and heat wok again in medium-high.

Add oil then garlic. Cook until garlic is crispy.

Add green beans, the reserved water, soy sauce and onion.

Cook for 7 minutes while stirring.

Add sesame oil and stir. Remove from heat and serve!
