Pampering Day at Frances Beauty Hair Salon

The past few weeks has been pretty rough for me. I’ve discovered how some people I’ve truly loved and accepted wholeheartedly have been pretending all along. While it may be considered a blessing since it took me a short time to discover it, it was pretty hard to realize and absorb. So now that I kinda got over it a little, I decided to have a brand new look.  My decision? To change my hair color to blonde! 👩

I tried changing my hair color to red a couple of years ago.  I did that to fulfill my bucket list.  This time around, I’m changing my hair color to signify change, to signify that I will continue to fight and to signify that I will not be facing life’s challenges with a weak heart anymore.

Thankfully, my friend Pat, who owns Frances Beauty and Hair Salon is in town. I told her that I wanted to have my hair done.  We scheduled it this morning and I was so excited!

Frances Beauty and Hair Salon is quite far from where I live but it didn’t bother me because I know Pat is one of the best hairstylists around.  I wouldn’t want to miss the chance to have her style my hair.  The salon is located at Marikina City.  I love how affordable the services are.  I ended up having my hair done, manicure, pedicure and foot spa.

Hair Bleaching and Hair Color (PHP 2,000)

My natural hair color is brown. I wanted to see how I would look like with blonde hair.  Pat told me that the pure blonde hair doesn’t suit me so she suggested for me ash blonde color.  She said it would fit my skin complexion. She also told me to wear red lipstick as it suits blonde hair perfectly, haha! 😄

Since we needed time for the chemicals to set on my hair, I got myself a Jelly Foot Spa with Mani-Pedi (PHP 450).  I enjoyed the Jelly Foot Spa because it felt different!  I usually just have hot water on my feet then the attendant would put some oil on my feet and massage it.  This time, my feet was soaked in jelly.  Afterwards, the lady put some white powdered stuff on the jelly and the jelly became liquid!  It was so cool, like magic! 👏🏻

I told the manicurist at Frances Beauty Hair Salon that I wanted glitter gold on my nails.  I want it to match with my new hair color!  I love the end result!

After the bleach, Pat put on ash blonde color on my hair.  This is the end result. The photo really doesn’t give the hair justice but it looks so much better in person!  I love the new me!  Thanks Pat! You’re a genius!! 👍🏻
