This year’s Night at the Museum is quite special. I may opt to just watch Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb once it’s out on iTunes. However, this is one of the last movies of actor Robin Williams.
In honour of Robin Williams, I was more than willing to watch the 3rd instalment of Night at the Museum at the movie theater.
In this movie, Larry Daley (Ben Stiller), a security guard at the Museum of Natural History, is determined to restore the magic of the tablet of the Ahkmenrah to save his friends.
Like the previous movies, this movie continues to entertain the audiences. I appreciate that there’s a bit of history with the magic behind the museum. It’s good to know how it all came about.
I also like that they added Ben Kingsley (Merenkahre) and Rebel Wilson (Tilly) to the cast. They were perfect for their roles! Tilly, the role Rebel Wilson played, brought so much humour to the film (a much needed one IMHO).
The surprise appearance of Hugh Jackman was great! I was laughing really hard when the scene was shown.
Not sure if the Night of the Museum will have a fourth instalment, but I believe the Secret of the Tomb is a good ending to the series.
My Rating for Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb: 3.5 out of 5 stars.
