Personal Makeup Session at MAC

I wanted to work on personal wellness this calendar year. One of the things I want to do is know how to present myself better so I decided to learn how to apply makeup. I initially wanted to take professional classes but I ended up taking the 1.5 hours 1:1 personal makeup session at MAC Cosmetics

What I like about the MAC 1:1 Personal Makeup session is that the PHP6,000 fee is consumable. I’m going to buy cosmetics anyways so it’s a win-win for me. I get to learn which shades and makeup products work best for me and I get to learn how to apply makeup on myself!

Honestly, I already forgot most of the stuff I was taught, hahaha! But good thing I took notes and I’m sharing it here so I keep this experience documented. I may not apply everything to a T but at least, I have a foundation on personal makeup application.

1. Wash face using facial wash
2. Apply toner to face
3. Spray 2-3 times of Fix+ Prep+Prime spray to face
4. Apply moisturizer to face
5. Apply Natural Radiance Primer to face
6. Apply eye Primer to eye lid
7. Apply NW25 Concealer to blemishes in the face
8. Apply Lightful C3 NC25 Foundation to the face, applying from the bottom up.
9. Apply foundation Mac Studio Fix as 2nd foundation.
10. Apply Bronzer Studio Fix Light/Medium Sculpt & Shape by using the darker 3 shades of the palette.
11. Apply deep dark brunette veluxe brow liner to eyebrow by brushing first then outline then color. To blend, apply upward.
12. Use finger to apply eye shadow primer Soft Ochre Pro Long Wear.
13. Apply eyeshadow by using eye shadow a59 brule and eye shadow a29 espresso matte. Apply brule by rainbow swiping on the eye then apply espresso matte on the corner then blend.
14. Tightline eye by using extreme black eyeliner.
15. Curl eyelashes by leveraging an eyelash curler. Do this by curling then tinting forward.
16. Apply mascara extended play perm me up lash on eye lashes.
17. Apply eye liner a39 black track for cat-eye.
18. Retouch eye shadow by using Eye Shadow a29 espresso matte on the corner eye
19. Correct mistakes by leveraging eye primer, use q-tip to apply.
20. Retouch by using foundation Mac Studio Fix and apply under the eye
21. Apply contour using bronzer and apply above cheeks.
22. Apply Sweet Enough Mineralize Blush on cheeks.
23. Apply Soft & Gentle Mineralize Skin Finish Highlighter on bone cheeks.
24. Apply Soft & Gentle Mineralize Skin Finish Highlighter on the inner corner of the eye as well as on the brow bone.
25. Apply Prep+Prime lip to serve as lip primer.
26. Outline lips by using Boldly Bare Lip Pencil.
27. Apply Velvet Teddy lipstick to lips.
28. Make nose look better by applying blended darkest shades from the studio fix light/medium sculpt & shape to the nose line.
29. Further enhance look by applying blended lightest shades from the studio fix light/medium sculpt & shape to the center of the nose & lower chin.
30. Spray 2-3 times of Fix+ Prep+Prime spray to face
31. For nighttime look, use Technakohl eye liner at the bottom of the eye.
32. To remove makeup, use Gently-off wipes.

These are the products suggested by the MAC cosmetics makeup artist. I intend to follow most of them as I like MAC cosmetic products.
