I’ve always enjoyed Bok Choy with Garlic at Chinese restaurants. Now, I get to finally cook this dish and it’s actually super easy to cook! The only challenging part is the presentation 😛
The key to this is cook the garlic well. Also, the more garlic the better!
Bok Choy with Garlic
Ingredients
To Blanch Bok Choy
- water enough to immerse the vegetable
- A Pinch salt
- 2 Drops oil
- 1 Bunch bok choy
Cooking the Dish
- 2 Tbsp oil
- 6 Cloves garlic chopped
- 1 Tbsp soy sauce
Instructions
To Blanch Bok Choy

In a big pot or wok, bring water to a boil. Add salt and a few drops of oil. Stir.

Add Bok Choy and blanch for 1 minute. Take Bok Choy off the pot or wok, drain and set aside.
Cooking the Dish

In a wok, heat oil over medium-high heat.

Add garlic and cook until golden crispy. Be careful not to overcook the garlic.

Arrange blanched bok choy in a serving plate.

Pour cooked garlic with oil over the bok choy.

Drizzle soy sauce on top. Serve and enjoy!
