While I was browsing through Netflix, I came across The Devil Wears Prada. I ended up playing it and watching it for the nth time! It’s just one of my favorite movies to watch. Besides I super love Meryl Streep, Stanley Tucci and Emily Blunt. Anne Hathaway is also very easy on the eyes. I love the fashion too!
The Devil Wears Prada is about a young woman, Andy Sachs who is a journalism graduate who became an assistant to New York’s biggest magazine editor, Miranda Priestly.
When I watch this movie, it’s like I was with all the characters in the scene. I was so engrossed in watching it that I actually forgot that it was a movie! The actors were so effective in their roles. I could empathize with every single character and could feel whatever they are feeling at the time. Emily Blunt was too effective as the assistant # 1. She was so ambitious but so determined to do everything to be Miranda’s # 1 assistant. But with that, she still has a heart of gold despite doing her best to hide it. Anne Hathaway was an eye-candy, I can’t stop staring at her! and Meryl Streep is just Meryl Streep, she’s too perfect and I couldn’t stop gushing about her. I’m glad Meryl Streep was recognized for her work in the Devil Wears Prada. Even though she didn’t win the Oscar, but she won the award from other award-giving bodies 😃
Work is tough and it’s definitely difficult to find a good job. Some roles hundreds of people would die to have. So my takeaway is to treasure our jobs and to perform well. No matter how difficult or impossible some tasks are, there will always be a way for us to accomplish them. In the end, the hard work will pay off. Without us even knowing, there will be someone who would appreciate the work that we do. And oh, it doesn’t hurt to make ourselves presentable and look nice everyday 😍
The Devil Wears Prada is a must-watch movie but I think it caters more to the ladies. If you haven’t watched this 2006 movie, you should stream it ASAP. You’ll love it for sure!
My rating for The Devil Wears Prada: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (5 out of 5 stars).
