This month of July, the culinary classes being offered by Maya Kitchen are more than exciting! Maya Kitchen even named the series of classes as ‘I Hate to Cook’ Cooking Class Series. I don’t know about you but there’s no way I can hate cooking.
If you wanna learn how to cook & bake, this month is the right time to enroll in the Maya Kitchen. The ‘I Hate to Cook’ Series has classes such as the (1) Learn how to Create a 5-course meal for a family of any size, (2) How to Deal with Leftovers & the use of slow & rice cookers, (3) Beginner’s Icing, (4) Basic Culinary, (5) Basic Baking, (6) Fondant Making, (7) Pies and Tarts and (8) Commercial Breads.

Do you hate to cook?The Maya Kitchen’s ‘I Hate to Cook” Cooking Class Series will teach you the culinary basics guaranteed to take away your dislike for cooking. On July 9, Saturday, 9am-1pm, learn how to create a 5-course meal for a family of any size. On July 16, Saturday, 9am-1pm learn how to deal with left overs and the use of slow cookers and rice cookers. Both sessions include hands-on and group workshops. Each class costs P2,000.Also on July 9, Saturday, 9am-3pm is Beginner’s Icing. Learn how to make Boiled Icing, Swiss Meringue and Ganache. The class includes hands-on and group workshop and costs P2,000.Basic Culinary is on July 12-15 and July 26-29, Tuesday to Friday, 9am-3pm. Learn Cooking Fundamentals and International Standard Techniques of meal preparation from soup, salad, pasta, main courses to desserts for Home and Institutional Scale Kitchens with workshop. Class fee is P9,000.Basic Baking is on July 19-22, Tuesday to Friday, 9am-2pm. Learn Basic Baking Techniques applicable to small and commercial scale production of recipes and formulations of quick breads, pies, cookies, cakes and other bread varieties. Class fee is P8,000.Fondant Making is on July 23, Saturday, 9am-3pm. This hands-on class includes group workshops and teaches how you can make your own fondant from scratch and decorate a cake. Class fee is P2,000.Pies and Tarts is on July 23, Saturday, 9am-1pm. Learn how to bake Caramel Butter Tarts, Mud Pie, Chocolate Chiffon Pie and Banana Cream Pie. The class includes hands-on and group workshops. Class fee is P2,000.Commercial Breads is on July 30, Saturday, 9am-1pm. Learn how to bake Kopi Roti Buns, Ensaymada, Cinnamon Rolls and Spanish Bread in this hands-on class with group workshop.
