Last April 5, I attended an event hosted by BlueWater Day Spa at the Luxent Hotel. I know this is a long overdue post. However, I want to make sure that I tried out the new service from BlueWater Day Spa before I write this blog post.
BlueWater Day Spa launched two milestones at the event:
- Introduction of BlueWater Day Spa’s new ambassadors which comprises of models from Mercato talent agency, actors from GMA-7 Kapuso Network, singer Nikki Gil, athlete Anthony Semerad & chinita princess Kim Chiu
- Launch of new service called Four-Hand Massage
We were treated with a show full of eye candy. The ambassadors were introduced one by one to the audience. Nikki Gil and Kim Chiu also gave us beautiful song numbers.
It was a good event full of celebration for the success of BlueWater Day Spa. It’s nice to see them continuously working to offer more services to ensure that they continue to be the spa of choice of many.

The gorgeous men (Sam Ajdani, Philippe Escalambre, Mark McMahon, Amadeo Leandro & Brent Javier) who are obviously good-looking & fit are perfect ambassadors for BlueWater Day Spa’s Revitashape (PHP 1,850) and Revitafirm (PHP 1,850) treatments.
- Revitashape (full body-slimming) – using the science of heat technology, Revitashape is specifically designed to tone and sculpt your body and melt away those stubborn cellulitis for a fit and more contoured look. This can be done on different parts of the body where there are fat deposits such as the thighs, stomach, back, hips and flank.
- Revitafirm (face) –
Bianca Guidotti & Ervic Vijiandre are ambassadors for Essential Balancing Facial (PHP 1,550) which is advertised as a facial treatment that is carefully designed to stimulate growth of healthy new cells, reduces hyper-pigmentation & impurities and deeply moisturizers the skin.
The Traditional Filipino Massage (PHP 1,250) or hilot is a 2-hour healing massage enhanced with 15-minute Ventusa (Chinese cupping) technique that uses indigenous herbs. This massage soothes tense muscles and eliminates nodules forming particularly on the back area. The treatment also helps relieve common ailments such as cough, flu and colic. Aljur Abrenica serves as BlueWater Day Spa ambassador for this.
Mike Tan advertises Traditional Balinese Massage (PHP 1,200) which hails from Indonesian province of Bali, this exotic massage treatment takes medicinal influences from India, China and Southeast Asia. The Balinese massage is a deep tissue massage & is ideal for chronic muscle pain, improvement of posture, range of motion and can be used to improve athletic performance.
Benjamin Alves is ambassador for Athlete’s Massage (PHP 950). The 90-minute deluxe therapeutic massage is designed for athletes& active people. It comes with 10-minute application of hot moist packs that heal joint pain and improves mobility, followed by a massage applied with Eucalyptus oil that focuses on joint and muscle pains and spasms.
Nikki Gil gave a wonderful song performance at the event is also one of BlueWater Day Spa’s ambassadors. She, together with basketball player & model, Anthony Semerad, models for Couple’s Treat (PHP 2,500). The spa package includes a relaxing Swedish full body massage & luxurious foot spa good for two. The Couple’s treat can be enjoyed in BlueWater Day Spa’s couples massage room.

I love Kim Chiu! She’s beautiful and looked down-to-earth. Of course, being a Filipino-chinese myself, I have bias for chinita celebrities here, hehe! 🙂

The Four Hand Massage is a classic Balinese body massage using the thumb and palm through long strokes and pressure points to relieve tired and aching muscles. The massage can be rendered in soft, medium or hard strokes, depending on the comfort zone of the client. This treatment uses our special hypo-allergenic warm oil for curative and soothing purposes.
Like all our other massages, we recommend this treatment on a weekly basis. As they say, health is wealth And in today’s modern and fast-paced lifestyle, every one of us definitely needs this massage in order to rejunivate our mind and bodies so that we can ready again to face the daily grind.

Since four-hand massage is the newest treatment from BlueWater Day Spa, I made sure I tried it myself. A few weeks after the BlueWater Day Spa event, I visited the Ortigas branch and got myself the Four Hand Massage.
There were complimentary chips and candy at the reception which we can partake while waiting for the therapists to set up the room for us.
The hallway is blue… Very very blue which compliments the name of the spa perfectly.
My experience with the newest offering from BlueWater Day Spa was great! It’s actually nice to experience having two therapists work in coordination when it comes massaging my body. It indeed was a four-hand massage therapy. I felt like having 2 different massages disguised into one treatment.
