I used an iOS program to check if I have anything in my kitchen that will expire in a few days. I found out that apparently, the Star margarine that I have will be expiring in a week. Because of that, I tried to find recipes online on how I can use it. I do not want to waste any food ingredient. It’s just not right 🙂
I stumbled upon Magnolia’s website, which sells Star Margarine. Among all the Star Margarine recipes, the lomi caught my eye. There are a lot of ingredients in this dish, but it’s not hard to cook. So I challenged myself to cook lomi.
One thing I like to warn you guys is the use of salt & pepper. It’s best to really taste your lomi before adding the spices. The mistake that I made is that I just took the initiative to just pour some salt without knowing that my dish is already salty enough 😛 So I had to make some adjustments to make my lomi perfect.

I was so proud of myself when I saw the finished product. I couldn’t believe that I can cook a dish that looked so difficult! *pats self*. Lomi is perfect for cold weather. Enjoy the recipe & the illustrations! 🙂
