Smart C+ is Oishi’s first venture in the ready-to-drink category. Oishi is one of the known manufacturers of snacks in the Philippines. Now, why did it pique my interest? Well, this new juice drink is unique!

I need to buy tons of vitamins for my daily intake: Vitamin C, Iron, Zinc, Vitamin A, Vitamin B6 and other supplements. I also plan to prepare fresh fruit juices as I know drinking too much soft-drinks won’t do me any good. However, there will come a time that I’ll be so busy that I wouldn’t be able to prepare. Now, I have an alternative! For those hectic days, I’ll just get myself some Smart C+ Juice Drinks and I’m good-to-go for the day.
I first heard of Smart C+ when I saw Slater Young’s TV commercial.

According to Oishi, they got Slater as a Smart C+ endorser because he has a ‘no stopping me’ character. Oishi definitely made a good product with Smart C+ and it suits the name perfectly! Besides having 500mg of Vitamin C in every bottle, Smart C+ contains no added preservatives, no artificial colouring & no artificial sweeteners! All it has is natural fruit juice and vitamin C!

There are 3 flavors available: Lemon Squeeze, Orange Crush and Pomelo Grapefruit.
I tried all three flavors, and Lemon Squeeze is my favorite among all of them. It was an obvious choice as I like lemonade a lot 😛 After I drank Smart C+, I felt that I have taken a healthy product that would help me boost my immune system, thus helping me get through the day.

What’s the downside of drinking it though? Don’t get me wrong –I love Smart C, I buy it almost everyday. Which is why I kinda wanna know what’s the downside of drinking it too much. ” Smart C+ contains no added preservatives, no artificial colouring & no artificial sweeteners” Won’t it get spoiled easily if there aren’t any preservatives in it? Are there really no preservatives added or is there just less preservatives in Smart C compared to some ready-to-drink juices?
