It has been years since I visited Little Asia located in Tomas Morato Quezon City. I remember dining there when it was still new, however I failed to eat there again until now (I think the last time was year 2001! hahaha! that was like 9 years ago!). Actually I didn’t notice any changes, even the menu items are still the same. I can’t remember though if they changed the prices. The taste of the dishes were the same too, still great food! I wonder why it took so long for me to visit Little Asia again.
I went with my friend and we had to dine on the 2nd floor as the 1st floor was jampacked. We weren’t informed though that the 2nd floor is actually their smoking section. I was pretty irritated when the person seated at the next table was a chain smoker. I complained & that’s how we found out that it was apparently the smoking section. I have to keep that in mind. Well, anyway, I love the interiors of Little Asia Restaurant. It’s truly unique with the orange and yellow combination of colors, not to mention that big cool sun decor they have hanging on the ceiling, just beautiful!
I missed the food in Little Asia so we ordered their recommended dishes. Here are the menu items that we tried:
- Little Asia’s Crispy Chicken (Php 245)
If you order this dish, you should be willing to wait 20 minutes before it can be served at your table. Is it worth the wait? Yes, it’s good! The skin is crispy, the meat is tender & juicy & gravy is great! What more can you ask for?
- Boneless Tilapia with Honey Mayo Sauce (Php 215)
This I think is the most famous dish of Little Asia. It’s fried tilapia fillets (boneless) with honey mayonnaise dressing. Oooh!! Eating fish is healthy but mayonnaise, I’m not sure hahaha! Anyhow, you should not miss this dish when you go to Little Asia. It’s one of a kind!
- Fried Green Beans (Php 195)
There’s only one vegetable I keep looking for whenever I dine at chinese restaurants. It’s the green beans!! I call it chinese green beans. Not to confuse you with the Philippine version of it, “sitaw”, it’s totally different. As this chinese green beans is longer & a lil thicker and softer I guess. Little Asia’s version is stir fried with black mushroon, onions & ground pork. I loved it!!
- Vietnamese Coconut Drink (Php 95)
this reminds me of Guinomis. I guess with this one, it’s a vietnamese version. This drink is sooo rich that I don’t recommend ordering this as your main drink. Would be best to treat this as a dessert. A mixture of coconut milk with lots & LOTS of colorful gulaman & sago! Rich is really the term I would use, and definitely sweet too!
I missed Little Asia. Maybe I should go there more often but definitely would not stay on their 2nd floor hehehe! 😛

My fave dish here is the prawns in cream sauce? I can't remember the exact name but it's super yummy 🙂
