Basil Pork

Servings 4 people

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 6 cloves garlic minced
  • 3 pieces siling labuyo (bird's eye chili) minced
  • 1/2 kilo ground pork
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2.5 tbsp fish sauce
  • 1 tsp brown sugar
  • 1 cup fresh basil leaves
  • 1 piece red bell pepper sliced
  • 1 piece green bell pepper sliced

Instructions

  1. In a wok, heat oil.

  2. Add garlic and siling labuyo. Cook until garlic is aromatic.

  3. add ground pork and cook until ground pork color turns light brown.

  4. add soy sauce and fish sauce. Saute for another 2 minutes.

  5. add sugar, basil leaves and bell peppers. Cook for another 5 minutes.

  6. remove from heat and serve on a plate. Enjoy!
